Rimaneggiata nel 1516 da Augier d'Arcangues, la chiesa di Saint Jean Baptiste è tipica dei Paesi Baschi. Le sue gallerie in legno intagliato e le vetrate colorate conferiscono a questa sontuosa struttura un vero e proprio fascino. Il campanile, classificato come Monumento Storico dal 1925, domina maestoso il villaggio di Arcangues.
Il suo cimitero paesaggistico è senza dubbio uno dei più belli dei Paesi Baschi, con le sue numerose stele discoidali e una vista panoramica unica sulla catena dei Pirenei. Il cimitero contiene le tombe di Pierre d'Arcangues e Luis Mariano.
