Remodelada en 1516 por Augier d'Arcangues, la iglesia de San Juan Bautista es típica del País Vasco. Sus galerías de madera tallada y sus vidrieras confieren a esta suntuosa construcción un auténtico caché. El campanario, declarado Monumento Histórico en 1925, domina majestuosamente el pueblo de Arcangues.
Su cementerio ajardinado es sin duda uno de los más bellos del País Vasco, con sus numerosas estelas discoidales y su vista panorámica única de la cordillera pirenaica. En el cementerio se encuentran las tumbas de Pierre d'Arcangues y Luis Mariano.
