Cappel è noto per la sua bellissima antica casa colonica in Rue de la Forêt, arricchita da decorazioni intagliate e incise. Fu costruito nel 1708 da Andres Kremer e da sua moglie Maria e fu modificato solo leggermente dopo la seconda guerra mondiale. Davanti alla casa, un bel calvario eretto nel 1812 riflette il carattere popolare dell'arte della nostra campagna. In Rue Abbé Touba si possono ammirare rari esempi di case del XVIII secolo. Anche l'arte religiosa fa la sua parte, come il Calvario del 1741, costruito contro la chiesa, e la cappella neogotica nel cimitero.
