Cappel is known for its magnificent old farmhouse, rue de la Forêt, enriched by a sculpted and engraved decoration. It was built in 1708 by Andres Kremer and his wife Maria and was only slightly transformed after the Second World War. In front of the house, a beautiful calvary erected in 1812 reflects the popular character of the art of our countryside. Rare testimonies of the 18th century houses can be seen in the Rue Abbé Touba. Religious art also has its share there like the calvary of 1741 raised against the church and the cemetery chapel, neo-gothic style.
