I pendii soleggiati della riserva naturale ospitano 23 specie di orchidee, oltre a numerose piante, alcune delle quali hanno affinità con il sud. Oltre alla varietà di specie vegetali, le più spettacolari delle quali sono le orchidee, che fioriscono da maggio a giugno, la riserva naturale ospita molte farfalle. In autunno si possono scoprire anche frutti e bacche selvatiche. La riserva naturale di Montenach è costituita da 6 colline che circondano il villaggio e copre una superficie di 107 ettari.
