A 500 metri sopra il quartiere delle Halles, il parco di Mazon è molto frequentato dai birocciai. Costruito nel XX secolo su un terreno lasciato in eredità dal capitano François Mazon, è stato completamente ristrutturato nel 2003.
Il parco offre due grandi aree gioco per bambini dai 2 ai 12 anni, una zona ombreggiata, un giardino con piante perenni, come azalee, rododendri o rose e un frontone. In estate si tengono spettacoli folcloristici, partite di pelota e galà di forza basca. Nel cuore del Parco di Mazon, il fronton si chiama ora Jean Pierre Abeberry.
Il 30 settembre si è svolta la cerimonia di intitolazione del fronton "Jean Pierre Abeberry", in omaggio a Jean-Pierre, scomparso nell'agosto 2020, ex campione del mondo di Cesta Punta, personalità biarrote molto impegnata nella sua città e per la sua città.
