500 meter boven de wijk Halles is het park van Mazon zeer populair bij Biarrots. Het werd gebouwd in de 20e eeuw op een terrein dat werd nagelaten door kapitein François Mazon; het werd volledig gerenoveerd in 2003.
Het park biedt twee grote speelplaatsen voor kinderen van 2 tot 12 jaar, een schaduwrijke zone, een tuin met vaste planten, zoals azalea's, rododendrons of rozen en een fronton. Folkloreshows, pelottespelen en Baskische krachtgala's worden hier in de zomer geprogrammeerd. In het hart van Mazon Park, heet het fronton nu Jean Pierre Abeberry.
Op 30 september vond een ceremonie plaats om het fronton "Jean Pierre Abeberry" te noemen als eerbetoon aan de in augustus 2020 overleden Jean-Pierre, voormalig wereldkampioen van Cesta Punta, een persoonlijkheid uit Biarrote die zeer betrokken was bij zijn stad en voor zijn stad.
