La cupola romanico-bizantina nel centro della città non passa inosservata. Lungo la strada storica si trova la Chiesa della Santa Croce, nota anche come Chiesa del Centro. La chiesa, ricostruita nel 1911, è imponente ma snella. L'organo, il nartece e le vetrate di Zettler (1912) e T.G. Hanssen (1949-1950) meritano una visita.
