En plein centre-ville, cette coupole de style romano-byzantin ne passe pas inaperçue. Le long du chemin historique, se dresse l'église Sainte-Croix, appelée aussi église du centre. Noble dans ses lignes, imposante mais élancée, elle fut reconstruite en 1911. En pénétrant dans l'édifice on remarque les orgues, le narthex ainsi que les vitraux de Zettler (1912), et de T.G Hanssen (1949 - 1950).
