Simbolo delle libertà comunali acquisite nel 1126, il campanile è una torre quadrata in pietra e arenaria che ha conservato la base medievale. Il prospetto risale al XVI secolo e il campanile al XVIII secolo. L'interno comprende una prigione e 4 stanze sovrapposte che testimoniano la ricca storia della città. Dichiarata Patrimonio dell'Umanità dall'UNESCO, oggi ospita l'Ufficio Informazioni Turistiche.
