Der Belfried ist ein quadratischer Turm aus Stein und Sandstein, der seine mittelalterliche Basis bewahrt hat und ein Symbol der 1126 erworbenen Gemeindefreiheiten darstellt. Der Aufsatz stammt aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, der Glockenturm aus dem 18. Die Inneneinrichtung besteht aus einem Gefängnis und vier übereinander liegenden Räumen, die von einer reichen Gemeindegeschichte zeugen. Das Gebäude wurde von der UNESCO zum Weltkulturerbe erklärt und beherbergt das Büro für Touristeninformation.
