Si tratta di un tipico porto dell'estuario della Gironda, dove attraccano pescherecci e imbarcazioni da diporto. Le rive sono fiancheggiate da carrelets, piccole capanne di legno dei pescatori costruite su palafitte. È stato allestito un pontile per ospitare le imbarcazioni passeggeri. In estate vengono organizzate gite in kayak e c'è una mini-fattoria che offre una varietà di passeggiate. Il sito "Terres d'Oiseaux" (Terra degli uccelli), vicino al porto, offre a tutti la possibilità di godere della ricchezza ornitologica delle paludi. Una "guinguette" e un ristorante con vista panoramica offrono ai visitatori la possibilità di mangiare e di usufruire delle strutture turistiche.
Vengono organizzati due grandi eventi: la festa del porto il 14 luglio e la notte dei Carrelets il 15 agosto.
