Il gayoir, o égayoir, o anche guéoir, era utilizzato per la manutenzione e la cura dei cavalli. Il basso livello dell'acqua e la dolce pendenza permettevano alle loro gambe di riposare dopo una giornata di sforzi? In pratica, si trattava di una spa per cavalli in mezzo alla natura?
