In un mulino ad acqua risalente all'XI secolo, nel 1920 è stato installato un mulino per la farina. Il suo ingegnoso meccanismo a tre livelli è classificato come monumento storico.
In esposizione permanente: una collezione di minerali che spiegano la formazione della Terra e una collezione di 100 apparecchi radiofonici del XX secolo. La sala delle Rosières rievoca questa insolita tradizione, ancora viva a La Mothe Saint-Héray, con la singolarità di una celebrazione pubblica organizzata intorno a un vero matrimonio. Vendita di libri e oggetti in loco.
