In een watermolen uit de 11e eeuw werd in 1920 een meelmolen geïnstalleerd. Het ingenieuze 3-niveau mechanisme staat op de monumentenlijst. Het gebouw herbergt een verzameling mineralen die de vorming van de aarde verklaren en een verzameling van 100 radiotoestellen uit de 20e eeuw. De zaal Rosières roept deze ongebruikelijke traditie, die nog steeds leeft in La Mothe Saint-Héray, op met de bijzonderheid van een openbaar feest dat rond een echt huwelijk wordt georganiseerd.
