Costruita dall'architetto diocesano alla fine del XIX secolo, la chiesa di Saint-Gervais-et-Saint-Protais presenta un'architettura sobria. La facciata occidentale è la più elaborata e presenta il portale d'ingresso, un bovindo ternato, un oculo, una nicchia con una Madonna policroma e una guglia.
All'interno dell'edificio si trovano numerosi oggetti di pregio, tra cui uno stendardo processionale con i due santi patroni della chiesa e un dipinto classificato come Monumento Storico, La Vergine che dà il Rosario a San Domenico, realizzato nel 1849 dall'artista Mendet Laget.
Aperta tutto l'anno, la chiesa di Le Chastel-Nouvel si trova nel cuore del centro storico del paese.
