Le sue torri rotonde, le feritoie e, in alcuni punti, la via coperta con gradini e parapetto merlato.
Furono i maestri muratori di Saint Beauzély a costruire le fortificazioni di Castelnau. Hanno protetto molti altri villaggi dagli stradini che hanno gettato il Paese in uno stato di grande insicurezza alla fine della Guerra dei Cento Anni.
Questi resti fanno parte del circuito dedicato all'arte romanica: "Patrimonio romanico lungo le valli del Muse, le Raspas del Tarn e dintorni".
