Il vecchio padre (la sua statua). Laurent Kropf lascia questa statua nel suo stato inaugurale, ancora coperta da un lenzuolo. Si intravede una forma umana congelata in una postura eroica segnata da una generosità idealista. Ognuno è libero di svelare questo vecchio padre e di dargli una realtà che si confronta con lo schianto della storia. La statua è problematica, in contrasto con l'ingannevole certezza del monumento. Non è altro che una traccia fantasma di un passato indefinibile, inscritta come un enigma dinamico nell'effervescenza del presente.
