A Chalosse, nel sud delle Landes, tra Doazit e Hagetmau, ai margini della D18, Sophie e Mike vi danno il benvenuto all'Horizon des Landes. Questo ex allevamento di pollame è stato completamente ristrutturato e offre una guest house, un gîte e una mini-fattoria per bambini e adulti. 7.000m² per rilassarsi e prendersi il proprio tempo e tutto questo con un piccolo accento britannico!
Se vi piacciono i bei paesaggi, vi piacerà passeggiare per Chalosse e vedrete campi di mais, colline a perdita d'occhio, villaggi in fiore e, qua e là, qualche fattoria che alleva uova, pollame e anatre. A pochi chilometri di distanza, i monaci dell'abbazia di Maylis vi accoglieranno e vi mostreranno come producono la cera e coltivano le tisane. Durante la salita, scoprirete Mugron con la galleria d'arte Rouge Garance, Montfort-en-Chalosse e il Musée de la Chalosse.
