I dipinti murali recentemente restaurati mostrano, tra l'altro, l'incoronazione della Vergine Maria e diverse figure di santi
Nel 1777, il pastore Oberlin sostituì la vecchia navata con uno spazio più consono al culto protestante, con banchi e gallerie su tre lati e centrato sul pulpito
La chiesa di Fouday è legata soprattutto alla personalità del pastore Jean Frédéric Oberlin, le cui spoglie riposano nel cimitero adiacente. La croce di ferro sulla sua tomba recita "Papa Oberlin", a testimonianza della gratitudine dei suoi parrocchiani per la sua opera sociale, educativa e spirituale
L'intero sito formato dalla chiesa e dal cimitero è classificato come monumento storico.
