Un'idea per una passeggiata a Parthenay: la scoperta del Vieux Lavoir
Dalla rue Grande, un piccolo sentiero conduce alle rive del Thouet dopo circa trenta metri.
Si possono vedere i vassoi su cui le lavandaie battevano i panni. Questi vassoi venivano sollevati in base al livello dell'acqua, per mezzo di un sistema di ingranaggi situato a un'estremità dell'edificio.
Venite a godervi questo luogo tranquillo e silenzioso e ad ammirare questa testimonianza dei tempi antichi.
