VISITE GUIDATE SOLO IN LUGLIO E AGOSTO
La tradizionale macelleria è aperta durante il periodo estivo dall'inizio di luglio alla fine di agosto, dal martedì al sabato e dalle 14.00 alle 18.00.
Limitato a 5 persone.
Le visite partono ogni 30 minuti circa.
Situata nel pittoresco quartiere di La Boucherie, è una delle 52 case costruite all'inizio del XIII secolo e dedicate al mestiere di macellaio.
Oggi è considerata un eco-museo che illustra la vita delle famiglie che macellavano, vendevano e cucinavano al piano terra e vivevano al piano superiore, mentre essiccavano centinaia di pelli di pecora e di maiale nelle soffitte a persiana. Attrezzi, foto della strada in piena attività, scritti e arredi testimoniano in modo commovente l'intimità di una comunità fedele alle proprie tradizioni, alla propria fede e al proprio mestiere.
