È nella frazione di Duris, un antico villaggio di ceramisti vicino a Magnac-Bourg, che sono stati realizzati i terminali. Devono la loro esistenza alla presenza di una vena di argilla, che viene ancora estratta dai produttori di tegole. I terminali assomigliano a brocche ornamentali ad anello, collocate alle due giunzioni dei quattro spioventi del tetto per proteggere la struttura dalle intemperie. Segno esteriore di ricchezza, i terminali allontanano anche gli spiriti maligni e gli incantesimi.
