Il lavatoio del villaggio e la fontana di St Jean all'ingresso del paese hanno conservato il loro stato originale. Il pozzo è in granito tagliato. C'è una croce a ricordare la natura sacra del luogo. Si ritiene che la fontana non geli e non si prosciughi mai. Accanto alla fontana si trovano l'abbeveratoio e il lavatoio, che formano un complesso idraulico con una disposizione precisa. La fontana è sempre situata a monte o separata dagli altri elementi per preservarne la purezza. Punto di riferimento essenziale del villaggio, la fontana simboleggia la parità di accesso a uno dei beni più preziosi: l'acqua.
