Durante la Seconda guerra mondiale, il castello di Hille a Montégut-Plantaurel ha rappresentato un rifugio sicuro (anche se non privo di pericoli...) per un gruppo di bambini, per lo più ebrei, in fuga dalla barbarie dei nazisti.
