Il Cantore fiorentino di Place St Nizier è un'opera di Paul Dubois , scultore e pittore nato a Nogent-Sur-Seine nel 1829 e morto a Parigi nel 1905. Fu uno degli artisti più importanti della fine del XIX secolo.
Questa scultura, realizzata dopo il suo viaggio in Italia, vinse una medaglia d'onore al Salon de Paris del 1863 ed è considerata un'opera importante che coniuga dettagli realistici con delicatezza ed eleganza delle forme.
Una copia in bronzo dorato è esposta in modo permanente al Musée d'Orsay di Parigi.
