Il volo British Airtours 28M è stato un volo dell'ex-compagnia aerea britannica British Airtours, una sussidiaria di British Airways. Il 22 agosto 1985 al Boeing 737-200 che operava il volo si incendiò il motore numero 1 mentre stava decollando dall'aeroporto di Manchester diretto a Corfù. I piloti abortirono il decollo e riuscirono a fermare l'aereo ai lati della pista, ma l'aereo si incendiò e i fumi prodotti dall'incendio intossicarono i passeggeri che stavano evacuando l'aereo, uccidendo 53 passeggeri e 2 membri dell'equipaggio.
