Le isole Orcadi sono un arcipelago della Scozia, nel Regno Unito. Situate al largo della costa settentrionale della Gran Bretagna, le Orcadi si trovano a 16 km a nord della costa settentrionale di Caithness e comprendono circa 70 isole, di cui 20 sono abitate. L'isola più grande, Mainland, ha un'estensione di 523,25 km², il che la rende la sesta isola più grande della Scozia e la decima più grande dell'arcipelago britannico. L'insediamento maggiore e centro amministrativo è Kirkwall, che conta 7.000 abitanti, possiede un porto rilevante e ospita la Cattedrale di San Magnus.
