La chiesa di San Giovanni Battista alle porte di Firenze è chiamata anche chiesa dell'Autostrada del Sole per la sua collocazione all'incrocio fra l'autostrada del Sole e la A11 Firenze-Mare, o più semplicemente chiesa dell'autostrada. Fu realizzata da Giovanni Michelucci tra il 1960 e il 1964. Si estende in un'oasi di seimila metri quadrati , appena fuori dal casello di Firenze Nord. Si trova amministrativamente nel comune di Campi Bisenzio, nella frazione di Limite; dal punto di vista ecclesiastico, la chiesa è una rettoria dipendente dalla pieve di Santo Stefano a Campi e fa parte del vicariato di Campi Bisenzio.
