Il castello de Hooge Vuursche è una villa della prima metà del XX secolo.

Le vaste foreste tra Baarn e Hilversum erano nel XIX secolo di proprietà della giovane nobildonna Louise Charlotte Rutgers van Rozenburg (1854 - 1908) e sono conosciute come le Hooge Vuursche. Si sposa con il giovane Johannes Adrianus Leonard van den Bosch, e insieme abitano in una casa nel luogo dove ora sorge il castello.

Dopo la sua morte, van den Bosch sposa la baronessa van Hardenbroek e incarica il maestro costruttore Eduard Cuypers di costruire un castello.
