Veenklooster è un piccolo villaggio nel comune di Noardeast-Fryslân, nella provincia di Friesland, nei Paesi Bassi, con una popolazione di circa 97 abitanti nel gennaio 2017. Prima del 2019, il villaggio faceva parte del comune di Kollumerland e Nieuwkruisland. Il villaggio è stato menzionato per la prima volta nel 1446 come "da conuent to Faen", e significa monastero sulla brughiera. Veenklooster è nato come insediamento di estrazione di torba nell'11° o 12° secolo e si è sviluppato lungo l'incrocio della strada da Kollum a Kollumerzwaag e Twijzel.
