Broeksterwâld è un villaggio nel comune di Dantumadiel in Friesland, nei Paesi Bassi. Nel 2017, aveva una popolazione di circa 1.100. L'area in cui sorse Broeksterwâld è stata menzionata nel 1452/3 come Broek e nel 1580 come Broeick. Era una zona paludosa torbosa vicino al confine dei Dokkumer Wouden, le foreste di Dokkum. All'epoca era principalmente una zona disabitata e non coltivata attorno ai villaggi di Akkerwoude, Murmerwoude e Dantumawoude. La prima menzione della zona torbosa si riferisce alla costruzione di una strada attraverso la zona torbosa da Broek allo Swatte. Probabilmente per il primo recupero della zona torbosa. La strada divenne poi la Schwartzenberglaan, il Singel e il Goddeloze Singel.
