Il Veerhaven è uno dei tanti porti di Rotterdam, situato tra Willemskade e Westerkade nel classico quartiere marittimo di Rotterdam. Si trova sul lato nord della Nieuwe Maas, non lontano dall'Euromast.
Il Veerhaven prende il nome dal servizio di traghetti per Katendrecht sul lato sud della Nieuwe Maas, istituito già nel XV secolo. Fino all'apertura del Willemsbrug nel 1878, questo era l'unico collegamento tra la sponda nord e quella sud della Nieuwe Maas. Il servizio di traghetti della compagnia Heen en Weer è stato attivo fino al 1968, quando la metropolitana ha preso il posto della connessione nord-sud. Dal 1911 fino all'apertura del Maastunnel nel 1942, qui oltre a un servizio di trasporto passeggeri c'era anche un servizio di traghetti per veicoli, il traghetto per automobili.
