Il castello di Bredevoort è un castello scomparso nel cuore della città di Bredevoort. Era il centro dell'ex signoria di Bredevoort nei Paesi Bassi. Una data di costruzione esatta non è conosciuta, ma intorno al 1188 il castello era menzionato in un elenco di beni dell'elettorato di Colonia. Nel 1238 il castello passò per eredità in possesso dei conti di Lohn e dei signori di Steinfurt. Hermann I di Lohn e Ludolf di Steinfurt fecero fortificare notevolmente il castello, e sotto Hermann II di Lohn il letto del Boven-Schlinge fu deviato verso Bredevoort per allagare i fossati del castello. Nel 1246 e nel 1255 i Lohner offrirono la loro parte del castello insieme ad alcune parrocchie situate nell'Achterhoek in feudo al conte di Gheldria Otto II.
