La Foresteria di Speulderbos è una riserva naturale situata a nord-ovest di Garderen. È una delle foreste più antiche dei Paesi Bassi e si trova al centro della Veluwe. L'area si è formata durante un'era glaciale, cosa visibile anche dalle colline moreniche. Nel bosco ci sono molti alberi contorti, poiché erano meno adatti per la costruzione di imbarcazioni, perciò sono stati risparmiati. La fauna è molto diversificata; ad esempio, ci sono cervi nobili, cinghiali, tassi e serpenti lisci.
