Il 13 giugno 2015 si è realizzato un desiderio a lungo coltivato da Scouting Nederland. La regina Máxima ha inaugurato, in qualità di presidente onoraria di Scouting Nederland, il nuovo Scoutinglandgoed Zeewolde.
Un luogo speciale nel Horsterwold dove ragazzi e ragazze possono vivere attività all'aperto impegnative. Scoutinglandgoed Zeewolde è anche un luogo d'incontro nei Paesi Bassi per scout nazionali e internazionali durante le attività di scouting internazionali.
Dalla diga si ha una buona vista su questo terreno di ben 40 ettari. Nel tempo diventerà il centro nazionale di Scouting Nederland.
