Le 13 juin 2015, un souhait longtemps chéri de la Scouting Nederland s'est réalisé. La Reine Maxima, en tant que présidente de la Scouting Nederland, a inauguré le nouveau domaine de la Scouting de Zeewolde.
Un lieu particulier dans le Horsterwold où les garçons et les filles peuvent vivre des activités de plein air stimulantes. Le domaine de la Scouting de Zeewolde est également un lieu de rencontre aux Pays-Bas pour les scouts nationaux et internationaux lors d'activités de scouting internationales.
Depuis la digue, il y a une bonne vue sur ce terrain de 40 hectares. À terme, cela deviendra le centre national de la Scouting Nederland.
