El 13 de junio de 2015 se cumplió un deseo largamente anhelado de Scouting Nederland. La reina Máxima inauguró, como madrina de Scouting Nederland, la nueva propiedad de Scouting Zeewolde.
Un lugar especial en el Horsterwold donde niños y niñas pueden vivir emocionantes actividades al aire libre. La propiedad de Scouting Zeewolde también es un punto de encuentro en los Países Bajos para scouts de dentro y fuera del país durante actividades de Scouting internacionales.
Desde la duna se tiene una buena vista de este terreno de nada menos que 40ha. A largo plazo, esto será el centro nacional de Scouting Nederland.
