Alverna è un villaggio olandese nel comune di Wijchen, situato tra Grave e Nijmegen. Il 1 gennaio 2016 Alverna contava 2.435 abitanti. Il villaggio prende il nome dal monastero Alverna fondato lì nel 1887, che a sua volta è chiamato in onore di La Verna, la montagna in Toscana, dove Francesco d'Assisi avrebbe ricevuto le stigmate il 17 settembre 1224. Alverna non ha un codice postale proprio. Nel libro dei codici postali, il villaggio è sotto il nome di Wijchen.
