La Chiesa Grande o di San Giovanni a Schiedam è una chiesa a tre navate che fu costruita nel luogo in cui già nel XIII secolo si trovava una chiesa. La costruzione dell'attuale chiesa iniziò nel 1335. Durante la Riforma, la chiesa di origine cattolica passò in mano ai protestanti. La chiesa è utilizzata dalla 'Comunità Protestante di Schiedam' che fa parte della Chiesa Protestante nei Paesi Bassi.
