Il Bosco dei Camminamenti Laakweg, l'ultima parte dell'area ricreativa Balij-Bieslandse Bos, sarà ufficialmente inaugurato mercoledì 7 giugno. Dalle due alle cinque del pomeriggio ci saranno varie attività presso l'ingresso di Laakweg, accanto all'area della Scouting Nootdorp.
Il Balij e il Bieslandse Bos costituiscono insieme una delle più grandi aree verdi della regione Zuid-Holland. Il Bosco dei Camminamenti Laakweg, l'ultima parte di quest'area ricreativa, è ora pronto per l'uso. Con l'apertura del Bosco dei Camminamenti, Pijnacker-Nootdorp ha guadagnato 54 ettari di area naturale e ricreativa. Ci sono molte acque aperte, per la ricreazione e la raccolta dell'acqua, ci sono boschi naturali aperti e chiusi con specie arboree autoctone e c'è una varietà di sentieri per camminare, passeggiare e fare ciclismo con ponti e punti panoramici su corpi d'acqua.
Ci sono più collegamenti con l'ambiente circostante. L'ingresso principale con parcheggio è raggiungibile tramite Hofweg/Laakweg. Inoltre, ci sono collegamenti per biciclette e a piedi con Balijbos e Dobbeplas e il quartiere residenziale 's-Gravenhout.
