Dorpstraat 78, Sibbe: Lo Sibberhuuske o Villiartshof

Lo Sibberhuuske, noto anche come Villiartshof, risale in parte al XIV secolo. Come grande feudo della Signoria di Oud-Valkenburg, passò nel XV secolo ai Signori di Ghoor e servì come casa dei Sindaci. Nel 1568 Maria di Ghoor sostenne il Principe Guglielmo di Orange nei suoi piani per una campagna a Bruxelles contro la Governatrice Isabella di Castiglia, figlia di Filippo II. Questo portò, su ordine dell'Arciduca Alva, al loro esilio e alla confisca della casa. Isabella la donò ai Baroni di Billehê di Huy (Belgio).
Nel XVII secolo il Sibberhuuske passa nelle mani del Generale Van Volckershoven. Sua figlia sposa un ugonotto al servizio dello Stato, cioè Jaques de Chalmot du Portal. È il loro scudo d'alleanza a ornare il portale d'ingresso.
Lo Sibberhuuske è un Monumento Nazionale ed è registrato a Ginevra nell'elenco internazionale dei monumenti protetti.
