La torre dell'acqua di Raamsdonksveer è stata costruita nel 1925 ed è stata progettata dall'architetto Hendrik Sangster. La torre ha un'altezza di 43,85 metri e un serbatoio d'acqua di 300 m³.
La torre di Raamsdonksveer presenta gli elementi stilistici caratteristici dell'espressionismo e dell'Art Deco che Sangster applicò in quegli anni.
Questa torre dell'acqua è un monumento nazionale registrato. Dopo un'accurata ristrutturazione, intorno al 1990, la torre è stata utilizzata da un servizio di noleggio d'arte per aziende e istituzioni nei Paesi Bassi e in Belgio. Attualmente, la torre funge da ufficio, spazio espositivo e deposito e ospita una delle più grandi collezioni d'arte d'Europa.
