Il nodo di Oudenrijn, dove le autostrade A2 e A12 si incrociano, è il nodo stradale più antico dei Paesi Bassi. Si trova nel comune di Utrecht, circa cinque chilometri a sud-ovest del centro di Utrecht. Il nodo stradale deve il suo nome all'ex comune di Oudenrijn. Nel 1954 si è svolta una riorganizzazione comunale, durante la quale il confine orientale di Oudenrijn si è spostato verso ovest fino all'autostrada A2, diventando parte del comune di Utrecht. La parte restante di Oudenrijn è stata considerata troppo piccola per un'esistenza autonoma e si è unita al nuovo comune di Vleuten-De Meern. Dal 1 gennaio 2001, Oudenrijn è un quartiere all'interno dei quartieri di Utrecht di Vleuten-De Meern e Leidsche Rijn.
