La stazione di Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn è una stazione ferroviaria e tranviaria, situata sulle linee ferroviarie per Arnhem e 's-Hertogenbosch, nel punto in cui la ferrovia attraversa il Vaartsche Rijn e il Westerkade. La stazione fa parte del Randstadspoor, che implica collegamenti ferroviari ad alta frequenza all'interno della regione di Utrecht. La stazione è stata costruita tra novembre 2010 e metà 2015. Lunedì 22 agosto 2016 hanno fermato i primi treni alla stazione di Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn. Questo è avvenuto quattro mesi prima di quanto pianificato, escludendo ritardi maggiori che erano stati riscontrati in precedenza per questo progetto. I tram della Uithoflijn servono questa stazione dal 16 dicembre 2019.
