Nieuwerbrug aan den Rijn è un villaggio nel comune di Bodegraven-Reeuwijk nella provincia olandese dell'Olanda Meridionale e conta circa 1.790 abitanti. Si trova lungo l'Oude Rijn e la Dubbele Wiericke. La più antica abitazione nell'area risale probabilmente all'età del bronzo. Un puntale di lancia dell'età del bronzo è stato trovato presso Weijpoort. Poiché il villaggio si trovava al confine settentrionale dell'Impero Romano, ci sono stati soldati in epoca romana.
