L'edificio di Burgemeester Eliasstraat 72-74 ad Amsterdam-Slotermeer è un monumento comunale dal 2011.
Nel 1954 sorse in questo luogo una nuova chiesa di Santa Caterina, dopo che la chiesa vecchia era stata demolita nel 1939. La chiesa fu completata secondo un progetto dello studio di architettura Evers e Sarlemijn, che nel luglio 1954 gestì la gara d'appalto. La costruzione avrebbe dovuto iniziare attorno al 30 novembre e richiedere più di un anno. La chiesa è una basilica a tre navate su una pianta rettangolare, costruita sotto l'influenza della Scuola di 's-Hertogenbosch. Lo stile è fortemente influenzato dall'architettura romana e paleocristiana.
