Il monumento Airborne, noto anche come De Naald, è un monumento di guerra nella città olandese di Oosterbeek in memoria della battaglia di Arnhem nel settembre del 1944. È contrassegnato come Monumento Nazionale ed è stato designato dal comune di Renkum come monumento comunale. Nel settembre 1944 si svolse l'Operazione Market Garden, un'offensiva alleata contro gli occupanti tedeschi. All'operazione parteciparono soldati americani, britannici e polacchi. A Oosterbeek, la 1ª Divisione Airborne britannica si unì alla lotta, con l'incarico di conquistare il ponte sul Reno ad Arnhem. Nella Battaglia del ponte sul Reno, gli britannici furono messi in difficoltà da contrattacchi tedeschi e dovettero ritirarsi dopo oltre una settimana a Oosterbeek. Urquhart stabilì il quartier generale della sua divisione nell'Hotel Hartenstein. Nell'aprile del 1945 Arnhem poté finalmente essere liberata.
