La tenuta è composta in totale da 380 ha di boschi e terreni naturali. La maggior parte delle foreste è relativamente giovane e deriva da bonifiche di brughiera. Il suolo forestale varia da molto povero di nutrienti e secco (principalmente nei luoghi delle precedenti bonifiche di brughiera) a terreni più ricchi di holtpodzol. La principale specie arborea è il pino silvestre.
Il metodo di gestione attuale, gestione forestale integrata, è – oltre alla produzione di legno pregiato – rivolto ad aumentare i valori naturali delle foreste. Ciò avviene anche lasciando in piedi gli alberi morti e sviluppando una struttura forestale variegata tramite una diradamento a gruppi. Questo approccio offre opportunità particolari per lo sviluppo della flora e della fauna.
