Il busto di Alberto Cruz, inaugurato il 29 gennaio 1963 , fu eretto in omaggio al celebre bracarán Alberto Cruz e collocato in Largo da Senhora-A-Branca.
Alberto Cruz nacque il 25 gennaio 1890 e morì il 7 ottobre 1961. Era un medico e chirurgo di Braga, lavorò all'ospedale S. Marcos e fu considerato un grande difensore degli interessi della regione del Minho . Fu anche un politico durante diverse legislature parlamentari e membro dell'Assemblea nazionale per Braga.
Il busto in bronzo , progettato dallo scultore António Carlos Vila-Chã Esteves, rappresenta Alberto Cruz in piedi su un piedistallo rettangolare in granito, con tre iscrizioni sui lati, da un lato "* 25-1-1890" e dall'altro lato "+ 7-10-1961", seguite dall'iscrizione "DOVE C'È L'AMORE PER L'UMANITÀ C'È L'AMORE PER L'ARTE DI IPPOCRATE". Il piedistallo poggia su una base rettangolare in granito con l'iscrizione "AD ALBERTO CRUZ MÉDICO E CIRURGIÃO INSIGNE BRACARENSE E VIGOROUS DEFENSOR DOS INTERESITOS DA REGION MINHOTA" sul davanti.
